Good Afternoon. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am not a very good Linux person so I am in a world of hurt here.
Situation is I have a user that was trying to set up Samba and when he reboot the desktop and it came to the login screen the root user now can not log in. He thought it was a password issue, but I corrected that.
When you enter the root and P/W it comes back with an Authentication error and we can't login.
I can come up under single user is there a way to disable the Samba login process to keep it from looking for an authentication server?
This is RH8.0
Thank You
