Hello,
I'm having a little problem with Samba 3.0.24 running on FreeBSD 6.2 , or rather, i have a little problem with Vista.
On XP, everything works just dandy. I can browse the workgroup the server is acting as a local master for, directly from the the "Browse workgroup" part of the network neighborhood or access it using its NetBios name alá Run -> \\SERVERNAME
On vista, i can connect to the server directly using the IP , but it does not show up in the Network window. Nor can I connect to it via. its NetBios name.
The mnbd log shows the server winning the elections and becoming local master for the domain, so, I'm pretty confused what steps to take.
Can anybody help me out here?
cheer,
Daniel
