Hello,

i have downloaded the source code of samba 3.0.20b and tried to install it under OpenBSD 3.8. (I tried to use pkg_add and download the version 3.0.13p0, but same result) I changed to the source directory of samba and compilied it all "./configure" & "make" & "make install". Of course everything seems to be ok, but when I try to start the Samba Daemon "/usr/local/samba/sbin/smbd -D" I get the error message "Abort trap". I don't know what to do because I didn't find anything in forums or google about this problem. Please help and say me, what I'am doing wrong.

Goodbye,
Dirk König
