Is samba-1.9.18p8 certified to run on Solaris 8? We have it
running on Solaris 2.6 at the moment and are upgrading to
Solaris 8.

You might post this in a solaris forum to be sure, but I think it should work. If you have problems, then step up to a newer version. If you have Windows 2000/XP clients, you definitely want to step up to a 2.2.x version.
