sam command taking too long ..11.23

Hi Guys,

I have installed 11.23 on HP 9000 rp3410 ,installation was sucessfull when i enter#uname -a
it shows 11.23 .........
but when i try to use sam for any configuration /data retrival or Software Management it takes .. long long .. before it excutes ar give details/results.Any one got similar issue...? or comment/direction/resource to solve the issue would be higly appreciated.

Yep, use the command line ...

Not being funny, SAM screws things up. I've seen it break passwd files, crontab and the kernel for starters.

Another thought, run the command line equiv for what SAM is doing, do you get the same delay.

Somewhere (?) SAM logs the exact line it runs. Sorry, not sure where but shouldn't be too hard to find.
