Sales Promotion

We are getting ready to do a sales promotion where we are going to sell 5 items to our vendors for a substantial discount with the requirement that the items must be displayed in their store for 12 months. Any orders resulting from these items being displayed will then have to be ordered for the customer.

Is there anyway that we can track the orders generated from this original order without us having to remember who purchased them through the sales promotion ?
