I am having problems with my Sales Analysis 5.1A module. When I attempt to import new documents from A/R and O/E I receive the following error box...

Error appending record to SH52ACIH in Header File

Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? Does anyone have any suggestions at all?

I have tried the Pervasive Rebuild Utility on the Sales Analysis files. I have tried reinstalling S/A module.

We are using AccPac 5.1A with Pervasive 2000i SP3 on Windows 2003 Server

Thanks in advance.

Run RVSpy and DBSpy to get the specific error messages.
Either there is a problem with the table or a record has a corrupt field.

Don't bother with rvSpy in this case. The old Sales Analysis program doesn't use views. dbSpy, however, will work. Tuba is likely correct that a duplicated key is causing the problem.

Thanks everyone. I ran the dbSpy as suggested and I found I have a duplicated key. Now the next question is, where do you all suggest I go to learn how to fix this situation or does anyone have a suggestion on how to repair the data?
Thanks again for all your help.

I would analyze the duplicate, delete one of the records in the source data, reimport, then manually sum the totals on the imported record. Or, make one of the duplicates unduplicated.
