Does anyone in this forum have experience with Sage Accounts Production Advanced? It is an Auditing/Accounting package which is suuposedly used by the top practices world-wide.
I recently installed it at the office, both server and 8 workstations(clients). I can open it and log on fine from the workstation I originally installed the software on. However, if I try to do the same from any other workstation, I get the following error message:
Unable to open file c:\hc\hca\ha.dtx
I then copied from the original workstation the "ha.dtx" file to the c:\hc\hca\ folder and the program allowed me to login. However, I am able to login as root on both workstations and the login count on both PCs is 1!
I am tempted to reinstall the whole thing, but then I am wondering if I would then need to contact England for new codes.
Has anyone out there seen this problem before?
Server: Pentium III, 1GB RAM, Win2K3SBS, SP1
Workstations: PIV 2GHz, 256MB, WinXP Pro SP2
