safe to use proxies,tor,vpn ... ?

Hi friends, can any one answer my question ?
if you don't know surely please don't reply,thank you

- using proxy server, or tor, vpn or unfiltering softwares, is it possible for the proxy owner to detect our user name and passwords which is sending over encrypted connection ( httpS ) ?

any help is appreciated

are not going to get you very far here. You are asking a question that is in a gray area of terms of service to begin with and making rude mandates in the process. This forum consists of volunteers who are freely giving of their time to help you and such statements are inappropriate.


The short answer to your question is no, encrypted traffic through a proxy can not be decoded by the proxy server - provided that you can confirm the authenticity of the certificate and that the encryption is endpoint to endpoint. If you can't confirm the certificate authenticity, then you may be subject to what is called a man in the middle attack.
