Hey -

I have a PC on the SBS domain that's run out of disk space. The disk cleanup wizard is offering up the Offline Files folder as a good place to trim the fat.

this folder seems to be loaded with local copies of all sorts of stuff from different users' my documents folders. If delete these copies in the offline files folder, will the synchonization delete the originals from the individual users' my docs?

It will not delete the original documents on the server. The local cache will be resynched as needed, depending on who logs on to the system.

It sounds like you are using My Documents redirection, and that always keeps a local copy of the My Documents folder that's actually based on the server.

We are using folder redirection, of that I am certain. I am confident I can delete these files without a problem.

but this is strange - this pc alone is synching everything - even after I delete it all. Any way to turn this off?
