How do I fix Win 98 when it statrs in Safe Mode and I don't want to use the restore disk that came with my e-machines computer? I don't have a system disk.

Safe Mode

Edit the MSDOS.SYS file in notepad, and look for the lines that say:
BootSafe=x
BootWin=x
Change them to say:
BootSafe=0
BootWin=1
Save as "msdos.sys" including the quotes.
Restart. Cheers,
