How do I disable safe mode start up in XP Pro?

If you are asking in the context of "I am currently booting up in safe mode and want to boot up normally" then do the following.

Start>Run

msconfig
(enter)

select boot.ini tab
unselect /safeboot

If you are asking how to disable it from ever being used, I dunno?

yea

your not really wanting to do that are you? its a bad idea...if you set reg values, and cant boot, your gonna have to reload everytime (which of course will entail pulling teh drive and putting into another computer, moving the data, then reloading), cuz you cant change the value back

are you just wanting to eliminate the "Press F8 for teh advanced start up menu" type of dialog? I beleive that is hard coded into NTKRNL
