Hi,
Could anybody please assist with SACOS for an ADN showing line state - Busy.
2444 - lim6.

ADN..
TRAFF STATE - PTR=0473 (IDLE)
LINSTA- PTR=02C5 (BUSY)

odn..
traff state ptr=01f0 - idle.
lien state - ptr=029f - free.

Much appreciated.
Saf.

The LINESTATE pointer is the DER pointer and it is safer to send signals than to use SACOS.
In your case you should do -
SGSAI:LIM=6,LEVEL=A,UNIT=DER,SIGAR=1,SIGNAM=LINFRE,STYPE=SWSW,BYTE=0-02&1-C5&2-00;
SGSSI:SIGAR=1;

himdp, This worked a treat!!

For furture reference how did you work out the last data byte...
(2-00). Obviously my linestate pointer - 02c5

Could you use the same process if traffic state - KLP1T was locked up?

If you have any information on clearing busy or linelock status, in this manner rather than SACOS i would appreciate this.

As I dont have plex libs for TSW, recently I got lazy and have been restarting the unit eg:trunk busy line state - restart DTR. In this case DER but in this instance due to nature of business this wasnt an option.
really appreciate the prompt response, as always.

Hi, glad it worked.:)
The last data byte is always zero (Default address control variable).

If KLP1T is locked up you would need to use a different signal however I do not have any notes about which signal to use.

himdp,

Unfortunately the line state of the ADN is again showing busy, i guess once called its state changed.

I tried to restart DER & KLP1T in the lim of the ODN to no avail.

I guess a SACOS would be required after all?

If anybody could assist with the this i would appreciate it.

Thanks
Saf.

himdp,

dont worry, i again cleared busy state, ended the ADN and re-assigned all now ok

thanks for you help.
