Sabrent SBT-TVFM 7130 TV Card Screen is black

I have a Sabrent SBT-TVFM 7130 TV Card and it shows in the device manager ok but when i try to open any of my capture programs (Itervideo WinDVD, Nero Home Or ATI Media center TV) all i get is a black screen, with no sound, anyone has anything ?

Some TV cards have more than one source - my old one had the TV tuner plus an s-video input, a composite input and a 'cable' input. I could switch between them but if I selected a source which didn't have an incoming signal - i.e. most of them, most of the time - I'd get a black screen and no sound.

You probably just need to select the right input. How you do this depends on the card.

try K!TV or VLC as the capture program
