Does anyone know how to give a user in eEnterprise the same right as SA. As I understand it SA is the only user that can work with users and user classes. We are trying to find a way around that as SA also has full access to everything else in eEnterprise.

The problem here is not a Great Plains one it is a SQL one.

To have a user in Great Plains you need to have a user account created in SQL at both a database and a server level. This means that creating / changing / deleting users and granting access to companies require an entry in SQL which is why the sa user is used.

If you are worried about security on this there is no reason why the sa user should have access to anything else. You could use security to lock down the sa user in Great Plains to only allow entries in these two areas.

You could then create an 'Administrator' account that had access to all other areas and this account could have a restricted password.
