I'm trying to access a database in CR 8. I can only see the system tables. I can see all the tables fine in query analyzer. I don't have SA rights to the DB. When I login to other DBs with SA rights, I can see everything.

Do I need SA rights in CR 8 to see any tables?

No, you don't need SA rights, you need an account that has permission to select from whatever objects are of interest.

In the Data Explorer (Database->Add Database to Report), select Options, you probably have only the System Tables selected

If this doesn't resolve, I'd suspect that you're using the wrong connectivity mode, and assuming that you're using ODBC to SQL Server (you might include such information when asking about databases), you should be using the Crystal supplied ODBC driver.

Hope this does it for you.
