I have checked the documents for the s8710 dimensions (3.4in high x 17.5in wide x 26in deep) and assume that an 800mm x 800mm cabinet will suffice.

However I have been told a special "server" rack is required due to the depth of the s8710 severs

Can anyone confirm if a standard 800mm x 800mm rack is sufficient?

thanks

Because of the size and weight Avaya requires a 4-post cabinet to support the server. The S8710 is a Compaq server.
