S8700 - VisAbility™ Management Suite back-up issue

I have been trying to email a system backup from the VisAbility™ Management Suite to my corp email but have not been successful. Here's what I get.

Backup is finished.


Failed to connect to mail server: Bad file descriptor
at /opt/ecs/sbin/backup line 1578

Here's what I'm specifying:

Email

User Name: (my email) at Domain Name: (domain name.com)

Mail Server: (Mail server IP)

 
Anyone have experiance backing up S8700 translations to FTP or email. Flash card is not an option!

So how do you do it? I've been unsucessfull with FTP and e-mail.
 
I just have windows IIS box, and just set the backup scheduling up..

I just had to do the proper ftp server and directory..

then it just worked

what version are you on?


 
is DNS set up set up for the S8700? Are the S8700s in the DNS tables? Your e-mail server might reject the S8700 if it can't do a reverse lookup, assuming the S8700 could do a lookup on the mail server anyway. Same holds true for FTP, at least as far as the S8700 doing a look up.
