I need to make my S8700 SIP capable. I need help configuring this and I know I need the TN2602 media resource board along with the TN799DP c-lan board. Does anyone with experience know if there's any other actual hardware that I will need to make it work?

You need a SES Server (S8500) combined home/edge

Then you make a connection from S8700 to SES and from SES to SIP-Phone,s or Trunks...

Just call your service provider, he must help you

I have an S8500 that we connect Avaya IP Phones and some softphones... I would like to get some SIP phones such as the 3Com 3108 Wireless Phone #3C10408A. How do I check to ensure that SIP Enablement Services is "on" and configured? Also, does anyone know if there is any decent Avaya Docs on setting up SIP connections?

Thanks in advance!
-Dennis

The wireless telegraph is not difficult to understand. The ordinary telegraph is like a very long cat. You pull the tail in New York, and it meows in Los Angeles. The wireless is the same, only without the cat.
