# Unable to match the main server license S8500 with G450
# The user has a major alarm LIC-Error
# The status license is Serial Number Mismatch
# The user has one S8500 with G450
# No IPSIs
# The G450 without processor

Cause

* The IP license-server is not configure in the G450
* The proc in not configure in the main server
* The license is not match with the MG Serial Number

Problem Fix/Workaround/Solution

Create a new license using the G450 Serial Number. Configure the IP license-server in the G450. Administer the 'proc' in the configuration of ip-interfaces. Clear the alarms.

Resolution Plan

1. Enter to RFA and generate a new license with the Serial Number for the G450. If the G450 is a LSP add the letter 'A' at the end of the Serial Number for the main server license and add the letter 'B' at the end for the Serial Number for the LSP license. With that you can generate the licenses with the same Serial Number.
2. Configure the MG in the Communicator Manager. The G450 should be the number MG 1.
3. Configure the 'proc.' First, in the configuration for node-name add the IP for the S8500, 'chan node-name ip.' After that, configure the proc with the ip-interfaces with the command add ip-interface proc. Configure the Location and the Network Region.
4. Enter to the G450 and execute the command ip license-server in order to activated the broadcast in the G450.
5. Save the changes with the command copy run start.
6. Reset the G450 with the command reset chassis.
7. Clear the alarms with the command test license long in the CM.
8. Check the status of the license with the command statuslicense -v from the shell.
