Actually this is clearly the problem.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Communication Manager Server 10.114.5.10CM
SIP Status: SIP Network Connection is UP.
SMS Status: SMS is down.
Timed out read from localhost
The book reads:
SMS Connection Type
This field defines the connection type between an SES home server and media server to obtain
provisioned data.
Choose SSH for a secure connection.
The phones are unable to load "features"
Some sort of communication breakdown here.
There is no place to choose a method of SMS connection as on an S8500.
We can however telnet to 5023 at the SES ip address.
Any ideas?
