Hi-
We are not sure when we started having issue with our Music on hold but it appears to be choppy for outside callers.
We've tried adjusting radio station/frequency and volume, etc.
We don't experience the choppiness when using our internal phones or putting each other on hold when listening to music.
Our cabling and connections appear to be fine from the radio(FM) to our S8300/G700 system.
We have a new PRI - not sure how QOS(priority of voice) is handled.
Perhaps our internal network could be a factor as well.
Now, we have silence on the line sometimes - and then all of a sudden music is heard for the outside callers.
Also - initially we hear music for a second and then nothing and then music again but always still choppy.
Is this just the digital lines screwing with the signal and complications of the Avaya system(On hold music using VOIP?) trying to send music over the network or via a PRI or ?
Hope this makes sense - any clues are greatly appreciated.
Thx.
