This is going to sound a little half baked. We are running Mobile Messaging 2.x or 3.x... I forget which at this point.. and need to apply SP2. The last time we tried to apply SP1 we ran into a bunch of bugs in Avaya's installer and the developers fixed it and told us to just go to SP2. No biggie.

Since MM can't receive calls while it is being service packed, I'm getting some push back from one of our groups on what we can do so people know that voicemail isn't available. I love users!!! We are already doing this after hours, maybe you should tell people not to call when we aren't open!!!! ok.. I feel better...

anyways.. does anyone have a way to address these concerns? Can I reroute everyone's coverage to a message on the 8300 if a call isn't answered. I looked and my coverage path says to point to h99... I'm assuming this is vmail, but I'm not sure. Any other ideas are also welcome.

Thanks in advance
RS

nevermind. I figured it out. If I ch cov path 1 instead of pointing it to h99 I can point it to an announcement. I didn't realize it was that simple.
