Hi-
Still quite the newbie with Avaya phone systems.
We just had an outage with our ISP(outside phone/VOIP line - T1) - affected our Main Avaya phone switch -= S8300.
Out procedure below:
A.) Launch Maint Web Int
B.) Shutdown Server - Immediate - restart after checked.
C.) Cont Ping...then login website again. ( wait for Current alrms screen to populate with info - can't communicate...)
D.) Current Alarms --> All is normal - no alarms
And repeat for two "other" phone switches(one in LSP mode - G700's & G350?) in different locations - connected to main.
Ask for calls to be made to our Main location/switch from other locations.
--> However - NO "outside" incoming calls are being answered by Audix/Auto-attendant - 800/local number just rings and rings for all calls.
NOTE:
Internal calls from other offices are OK.
Last time - same scenario/issue - BUT, power went out instead of loss of ISP/phone line - and we ended up un-plugging card and reseating connection to fix.
Any other ideas as to what we could check in the system so we don't have to fix by messing with the hardware?
Thanks for any help.
