Good morning. I have a user, digital 2410, trying to make a 911 call. Phone resides in media-gateway 3 and trunks reside in media-gateway 1. MG001 and MG003 are in different locations. When user dials 9911 (setup in the ARS and works if dialed from MG001), the digital station in MG003 gets a denial event 1012 - Destination Unavailable - Event Data 1 90E - Event Data 2 198. 911 is setup in its own route-pattern and uses trunk-groups 1 and 2. When I trace the call from the digital phone in MG003 and get this destination unavailable error, it tries to reorder to trunk-group 3, which isn't listed in the route-pattern for 911. Trunk-group 3 is out-of-service and no longer used. Why is it not following the ARS for 911 from that location, but 911 calls from the main site follow the correct route? Checked MG003 and there are no VOIP errors and DSP's are in-service. Thanks...

cha ars a 911 location 2 if that other gateway is in that location, network region will tell you what location it is using

Thank you. We found that there was location dialing set up to a CO trunk-group that is no longer in-service. We changed the route-pattern to only active trunk-groups and it is now working correctly. *** CASE CLOSED***
