I was wondering if anyone knew what exactly (in english) a MDE file would be? In the Data Utility, you can convert the database to MDE
What are the security issues (for user level)?
What is the front/back end structure?
Are there any network issues?
Will this optimize my current database?
Are there any memory isssues?

Hey Doug,

Your FAQ mentions the elimination of corruption risk--how did you learn of this? This is a very compelling reason to make the extra step of Dev copy / revision / Make MDE for db mods.
