RWW RDP & Sharepoint

I recently installed an SBS2k3R2 server. All is working well but the client is interested in the RWW and accessing RDP and the sharepoint site. I can access the RWW main page and OWA through RWW but I cannot open my companys internal website or an RDP connection to a workstation. I have port 4125 opened on the fw. Any ideas.?

You need to re-run the CEICW wizard (from the to do list, connect to the Internet). There are check boxes there to specify what to allow to be accessed.

I ran the ICW and published everything. Most of the RWW site works but from the main website that is the portal to RWW or the company's internal website works fine.

When I select company's internal website it resolves to

http://companyweb

and I get a page cannot be displayed 404 error.

I can go into RWW and all works except the RDP to desktops.

I would investigate if your DNS is setup correctly.

DNS Settings

Set all static NIC TCP/IP properties to only list internal DNS servers.

In DHCP set the DNS scope option setting to internal DNS servers.

In DNS, configure ISP DNS on the forwarders tab.

Ok, I think I spoke too soon on RWW & RDP. That seems to be working.

The only thing not working is the companyweb from the main portal page that says Access My Companys internal website. It resolves to

http://companyweb.

I get page cannot be found.

DNS settings are correct. All point to internal IP of server which then uses forwarders to ISP.

Does your internal domain name match your external by chance?

I got the RWW working properly. Now it is just the Internal Company Website from the main portal page.

No my internal domain does not match my external domain.
