RV082 DMZ Headaches

Can anyone tell me how this thing works? I have a Linux server connected to the DMZ port. When I enter the public IP address of the server in the DMZ IP address field, the server won't initialize the ethernet card because it says another host already has the IP address. What am I supposed to put in this field? I have an RV016 that is similar but works differently.

what am I doing wrong?
