RV042 VPN help

i have a linksys rv042 router.. i have no idea on how to go about setting up a vpn..

at my house i am running active directory on a DC, that also serves as DNS, DHCP, file server ect.. i have a OS X network that runs open directory server with a web server and so on

i want to take my laptop at home.. "dell 9300" and VPN into my home network.. now


on the rv042 settings, i see a bunch of stuff.. local group.. remote gateway

then there is client to gateway, gateway to gateway
vpn client access
vpn passthough

idk what to use.. i dont know what to setup.. any help would be very helpful

The easiest thing to do is to use the Linksys QuickVPN software from the Support, Download section of their website.
