My business partner and I are ready to being marketing a nifty little database program, which we have been working many months to develop. Does anyone have experience with creating a runtime version using the Microsoft Office Access 2003 Developer Extension? Is it worth getting? Does it really work? One more thing. I do find it a bit confusing when looking at the Microsoft web pages as to exactly what I would need. Is it the Visual Studio .NET Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Developer, or Professional Editions.

If anyone has any experience with this I would greatly appreciate any input.

Regards
LR

Visual Studio.NET is a completely different development package. It's the Office Developer's Toolkit (or the Developer's Edition of Office) that you need.

The best way to distribute a runtime version of an Access database is to use the Package & Deployment wizard of the Developer's Toolkit to copy your database files and all the necessary runtime files into an installation file. This file can then be burned onto a CD for distribution.

Quick, easy and professional.
