Hi all!

I have a problem with my db once I deploy it in runtime. I get #Name? error for fields where I used function such as Trim, Format, Date and the others. Any idea why and how to resolve this?

I also have problem with graphs. The graphs don't show on the report during runtime.

All these errors don't happen on full version of Access 2000. Please help. Thanks.

Hi,
I think you will find that your user(s) are running a different version and/or service pack than you are running. You can easily verify this by clicking "Help" from within Access, then click on "About Microsoft Access". The top line will show info about the version, e.g., Microsoft Access 2000 (9.0.3821 SR-1).

If they are the same, then the problem may reside with the "references" set up within their version of Access. This can easily be checked by going into any code segment, then clicking on Tools, then References. Compare the users references with your own, make any adjustments, and see if that helps.

By the way, I had this problem with one of my users until our tech support people completely reinstalled Office 2000, and applied the necessary service packs.

Thanks Randy.

It was my reference. I have an ocx that I didn't use anymore and I didn't uncheck the reference.

However, a new problem occurs. The report layout from landscape changed to portrait for one user (still run-time version of Access 2000). I also noticed that graphs are memory intensive. Is that true?

Hope you have the answer!

Hi,
Ironically, I have never had to create a graph in Access reports!!!
However, knowing Microsoft Access, I would suspect that it is very memory intensive. But, the best thing is to post another message with that info in the subject line.
