runtime error

I am using IE 6.0 sp1. On certain web pages I am getting this error.
"Runtime Error
Error: Access is denied"

Then this error comes up:
"The callee(server[not server application]) is not available and disappeared; all connections are invalid."

And I also noticed that when a link calls for a another window to be displayed along with the first nothing happens.

Can anyone help.

This is a javascript error, is not IE's or your fault, but completely that of the web page designer.

It is usually due to calling an array of elements from a closed web page.

Since this is not a site your designed, in all likeliehood this is a BHO or malware popup that is poorly designed. Clean your system of adware, spyware, BHOs and other nasties: faq608-4650

Thanks for the info. I have run SpyBotSD and found nothing unusual on my PC. Do you suggest running other adware removal programs?
