Runtime Error

Hello all
When I run screen savers I continually get the below dialogue box:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program C:\WINNT\CHRIST~1.SCR

Abnormal program termination


This happens with every screen saver I attempt to install. It not a major problem but it is annoying, so if you can help I would appreciate it.

This doesn't exactly solve your problem, but I'd suggest not using screensavers. Screens nowadays don't need them and they can cause many software problems and hog your system. Use the power options control panel if you want your monitor to turn off after a period of inactivity.

I am having the same exact error except mine is while I am executing an application file.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program to no avail.

Let me know if you find a solution - I don't have any screen savers running on this pc.
