Runtime Error while attempting client install

I was attemting to install a Netbackup 6.0 client on a Windows 2000 server and recieve the message "Runtime error, this application has requested runtime to terminat in an unusal way" Waiting for Veritas is getting exhausting, so I thought I'd try here.

I had the same problem. I had to burn the program to a disk in order to get it to work.

I only had the problem when trying to install Windows Remote Servers. Everything else worked.

Thanks. Coincidentally I was installing remotely, but the CD was already copied to the server. I ended up using the PC_Client install as suggested by Veritas.
