we have a "new" client installation for sap-gui 6.5. this is a complete installation. with our old installation everything worked fine. when i want to create the sap.bapi object (first line of code below) i receive following runtime error: "runtime error 7. not enough memory". has anyone a hint what the problem is ?!

Set oBAPICtrl = CreateObject("SAP.BAPI.1")

How much RAM in on the client and how much is recommended by SAP for 6.5?

Hi there,
I had the same problem.
In my case the relevant dlls were corrupt.
The ones i had were about 500k the ones I got from sap-support (Akinwale from Isreal) were 5 MB.

Check that.
If you need the dlls. I still have them somewhere.

best regards,
palor
