Runtime error 64225 - Can't open any more tables

I recently encountered this error while trying to run a complex report containing several subreports. Each subreport is based on underlying queries built on the fly according to user specified criteria.

Is this a machine specific issue having to do with hardware limitations? O/S specific? Something with the actual installation of Access?

Some details:

The application was developed using Access97

The error occurs when the report is run on a Windows2000 machine but not on Windows98 or WindowsNT. The Windows2000 and WindowsNT machines are both 700Mhz processors with 192MB RAM. The Windows98 machine is 300Mhz with 64MB RAM.

Any insight on this would really be appreciated.

Here's the solution in case anyone is interested. Is has nothing to do with operating system. The Win2000 machine that was giving me the error needed to have the Office 97 Service Pack 2 installed. (I was working with an older version of the Jet Engine.)
