Runtime Error 57121 in Excel 2002

One of the users of an Excel Template that I developed receives a "Runtime error 57121: Application-defined or object-defined error" when he opens the spreadsheet. I have opened it repeatedly in an attempt to duplicate the problem and have managed to re-create it on my computer only twice in perhaps 50 trials. When I click on the debug button to try to trace the error, Excel presents me with the AutoRecover screen. Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

Application created in Excel 95, modified under both Excel 97 and Excel 2002. This is a brand new problem.
