runtime error 5 when using application.followhyperlink

I have a button on a form that runs the code Application.FollowHyperlink me.UL_Link.Value and I receive the error "run-time error'5':
Cannot locate the Internet Server or Proxy Server.

What does the following display in the immeidate window (ctrl+g) when executed?

Debug.print me.UL_Link.Value
Debug.print cstr(me.UL_Link.Value)

I was just noticing that the FollowHyperlink takes separate vales for the primary and sub addresses.
