I am using microsoft retail management system store operations in a two-store environment, also we are using headquarters to link the two stores together. At one of our stores we have to point-of-sale registers. Lately we have been experiencing a very serious problem at this store. Whenever we try to print anything at one of the registers, whether it be a receipt at the time of sale, or an end of day Z-report, we get an error that says 'run-time error 380, invalid property type'. when we click ok to close the error message, the POS program completely shuts down. We tried backing up the database, and creating a new store database by restoring from the backup. We tried doing a complete uninstall on the problem register and reinstalling. Nothing worked, we still get the same error.
Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it? Like I said, the error appears to be triggered whenever we try to print something. The biggest problem is now this error is beginning to affect our other register. We used the program on both registers for over a month of testing without any problems, we only recently started getting this error. The other store is not having any of these problems.
Help!
Thanks in advance
Kevin
