It is sometimes useful to let a user sort, filter etc. by right clicking on a field and bringing up the short menu.

I have noticed that with the run-time environment (test with /runtime at end of shortcut) right clicking is not allowed anymore.

Is there any flexibility here such as being able to switch this facility on with code?

Thanks...

The runtime does not contain any built-in menus, but you can create custom shortcut menus and copy the built-in menu items to them. Those will work.

A single shortcut menu may be all you need. (Access will automatically disable the commands that aren't relevant in the current context.) If that's good enough for you, you can set the Startup Properties>Shortcut Menu Bar to this shortcut menu.

If you need additional shortcut menus for individual forms and reports, set the form or report's Shortcut Menu Bar property (and set its Shortcut Menu property to Yes) to override the default shortcut menu for that form or report.
