I am running under Windows XP. I have installed IIS from the XP disks and it appears to execute since I can start it with the URL=localhost.

Then I installed VI v6.0 from the Visual Studio CDs. Everything seems to have gone OK including installing VSS which went automatically. I also installed the Back Office tools which indicate that it installs its own Front Page extensions as well as a bunch of other files needed by VI.

I think I have Front Page Extensions installed since the Administrations Tools/Front Page Extensions options shows something under the computer name.

However, clicking on the VI icon just flashes the VI logo and then quits. Nothing happens.

Can anyone suggest anything that is missing here causing VI to fail?
