I'm hoping someone can clear up a disagreement here.
We have an NT box that holds two runtime instances of the same module. Each instance uses Oracle Client software to point at an Oracle database on a different box to extract data from that Oracle db. Currently both Oracle instances are at 7.x, however one will soon become 8.x. There are good reasons for not upgrading the 7.x version as it is due to be decommissioned shortly, however the two must run in parallel for several months. The question is, is it possible to run two versions of the Oracle Client software on the same machine and selectively use each one?
