running totals - grand total
How to get grand total after creating a running total
formula?
i have created a running total formula
with a field called subscpriton.
this field is grouped statewise
and gives the data correctly for each state.
but i am held up with a small
problem
i want a grand total for this running
total i.e. total for all the states.
when i try grand total it says
"this field cannot be summarised"

Crystal can't summarize summaries.

Create the Grand total as another Running Total using the same exact field you used in your Grouped Running Total. Just change to Reset level from Group to Never.

The only other alternative is to create a variable and accumulate the Group values in the Group footers...
