RUNNING TOTALS BY MONTH

I need to present a running monthly total on a form. I was able to produce a running total but the user wants it to display also the monthly total.

The field is Forms!FormName.[Cost of Training]

I haven't used DLookup much so any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried setting a control that has

=Sum([Cost of Training]

as a control source? I would assume you would want to put this control in a group footer for the month in question. Not knowing how your report is layed out can't help too much. But I would try that first to see if it does what you want.
