Hi

Thanks to all the answers on my previous threads. I appreciate it a lot.

Here is one more from me.

I need to have two running totals on my report. One - for those transits that have value 07331, another - for all the other transits

Could you suggest the formula for those totals?

Thank you

Possibly make two queries? Set both queries to take whatever field is summed to get a total, use the totals row option (in the view menu) and set totals to Sum. Also add the transits field to the query but don't show it. In the criteria of transits in one query put =07331 and in the other query put Not 07331 in the criteria of the transits field.

Now set the source of the controls to be their respective query

Cheers,

Pete

Ok,

Declare private variables to track each distinct total you want. Then, in the appropriate event of the report, increment those totals and in the group footer, assign variable values to the appropriate controls representing your totals.
