Hello Everyone,

I've got running totals that use the SUM function and I'm expecting some zero's and am getting blank or null values instead. Shouldn't SUM produce a muneric value?

Thanks In Advance

Not if the field is a null.

You have options, you can eitehr select File->Report Options->Convert Null Values to Default, or create a formula and sum it, as in:

@SumMe
if isnull({table.field}) then
0
else
{table.field}

Now you can usea Running Total aginst this, or place this formula in the details, right click it and select insert Summary->Sum.

You can then delete it from the details.
