This should be a simple Crystal Reports 101 task but it's not working for me. This is a simple report that uses an Excel file as it's source and does not use grouping.
There is a number column and I want a sum at the bottom. Right now there's a simple running total that sums the column for each record and never resets. But the total shown is the actual total +1. Right now I can clearly see 4 rows with a 1 and the rest are zeros. Yet a 5 is displayed at the bottom of the report.
I tried placing the running total field to the right of the other columns, there it counts correctly, showing a 4 after the last "1" in the column it is summing, yet it still shows a 5 in the footer. I also tried a Grand Total Summary set to sum the field and it also shows 5.
What am I missing?
