Running Total by Quarter Reset to Zero for each quarter 1

Hello,

I'm working on charting my running totals and running into a problem. I have my running totals to evaluate and reset by quarter group. This seems to work when shown in just data form and for the first quarter in my chart, however when it comes to the second quarter, the total is not resetting to calculate the totals for that period. The total keeps running and includes the first quarter and any new sales for the next quarter.

How do get the running total to reset for each quarter? I'm at a loss,

If you have a Group for Quarter, you can reset on Group, if not, then use the Reset on Formula option

You'll need a formula something like:
(month({table.date}) = 4 and month(previous({table.date})) = 3)
or
(month({table.date}) = 7 and month(previous({table.date})) = 6)
or
(month({table.date}) = 10 and month(previous({table.date})) = 9)
or
(month({table.date}) = 1 and month(previous({table.date})) = 12)
