running TIBCO on HP-UX 11i

We are currently running TIBCO integration manager and file adapters on HP-UX superdome platforms. We experience large memory use and the file transfer are slow and often go in error. TIBCO platform is developed in JAVA, and we are currently using JVM .
What about using JIT compiler ? Is it compatible with TIBCO?
More in general, which benefits shold we expect by using JIT on HP-UX instead of JVM for all our JAVA server applications ?

At the moment we have jdk 1.3 .
