Sorry to bug a again but im getting desperate now!!!
i need a query that will show a running total of a feild.
I have tried DSUM but i cannot get it to work, can anyone help?? please!!!

can't you do the graph on the column of figures and do a stack graph? That'll look like a running sum without calculating.

i need a line chart, i can d it in excel but not in access

ok do you have in one field a date? is that your x-axis? i'll assume so and continue.

say you have a table Table1 with

ThingsDate Things

where Things is a number.

make a query.
bring down ThingsDate.
in the second column, put this
Code:
RunningSum: DSum("Things","Table1","[ThingsDate]<=#" & [ThingsDate] & "#")

ok?
